God is Awesome!!!!

I am so pumped up! We went to New Hope tonight for their DNOW worship service. The service was called a "Concert of Prayer". It was simply incredible. It was awesome to feel Gods presence in such a real way. I have been on such a spiritual high lately. It is amazing to be in and feel the very presence of God. He is so good. I only wish everyone could have experienced the time we had. Slay, MJ, and Courtney you guys are awesome too! I enjoyed worshipping our God with you guys!
The service was neat because there was no rush, no hurry to it. We were able to just sit back(although that didn't last very long) and feel His moving. People were shedding tears, praying, worshipping. It was so nice just to bask in His glory. There were no words spoken, no people on stage, just scripture and worship music. God is so good(I think I said that already), but He is. I know God is ready to pour out so much more on us, we just have to be willing and come to a point where He is all we need. No more focusing on this world and the things of this world, just Jesus Christ. When we do that, He will come in like a flood. I regret to say that some of us are more focused on ourselves than Him, the one who died for my sin, your sin, with no reservations. We talked about that in Bible study Wednesday night how that He is so committed to us. It is humbling that a God so big, and we are so small and consumed by other things, but He is still SOOO committed to me, and You. How does that make you feel?
God is wanting to do so much more for you, to be a real presence in your life. Are you willing to give up everything? He was, He did, He will......

  1. Steve,
I am so thankful for what you are allowing God to do, through you, with the youth at Mount Zion!
When God finds a vessel that is willing to be used by Him, He will do mighty things! About your question, I think many people don't get that it isn't about knowing there is a God, even satan knows there is a God. Many miss out on the relationship they can have with Christ. It's not about being "saved". You need to give EVERYTHING to Him. When we accept Christ the rest of our lives should be about letting Him use us to bring others to Him, worshiping Him, praising Him, drawing close to Him by staying in His word. I pray that church family will allow God to work through us....change us to be more like Him. I am praying for you and your family. Stay bold for Christ. You are making a difference!
