Our amazing God

Check this out. Scientist discovered this star using the Hubble telescope. Guess what they call it? The Eye of God. I love this picture. It reminds me of the scripture in Psalms 33;
13 The LORD looks down from heaven; He observes everyone. 14 He gazes on all the inhabitants of the earth from His dwelling place.
Isn't that amazing? What if that picture was the eye of God? And He is looking at you right now, look at that picture and think about it. Read that scripture again and think about it, He watches us from heaven! I love the fact that God is watching over us don't you? Not to just write down all our mistakes, but I love that He is keeping an eye out for us. I think of the over-protective mother you see at the playground. You know the one that can't sit down and just let the kid do whatever. She is constantly watching, making sure the child doesn't do anything crazy without saying, "don't do that you might get hurt." Isn't that what our heavenly Father does for us? He tells us in our spirit, "don't do that you might get hurt", or don't go there, you may be tempted to do something you shouldn't." Check out what 1 Peter says; 1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. God is watching out for us, He is looking at us, He is telling us to cast all our anxieties on Him...Would you do that? Would you cast, or throw, everything that is bothering you on Him? He cares for you!!
