Discouragement

What in the world is going on with people? I am hearing of so many people who are discouraged right now. Pastors, youth pastors, leaders. I can see why, there is just alot of things that aren't exactly encouraging going on around us. Or is there? I think there are those who are fired up and ready, ready to take on hell with squirt guns. I was thinking the other day after talking with a youth pastor friend of mine about Jeremiah. God called him to speak to the nation of Israel and try to bring them back to Him. It was not an easy task. The people were worshipping idols and the priest were as corrupt as any politician we know of. (oops did I say that?) No wonder Jeremiah is known as the weeping prophet. He loved Israel but they wouldn't listen to him. Sometimes I feel the same way. We must remember God is in control, no matter what. We serve a mighty God!!!
